Hi, I’m Crunchie. I have been involved with horses all my life. In 1998 I became “Horse drawn” due to my love of horses and to live a “greener” lifestyle.
Since 2005 I have been Horse Logging with my working cob type ponies, finding them a low impact and environmentally friendly alternative to mechanical methods.
As well as logging, pony power can be used to transport a wide range of materials, both on and off road. For a greener solution, or if it is simply too wet, too steep or just too awkward, my cobs could be the answer!

Crunchie works his horses as a sole means of timber extraction As a custodian of his ancient woodland he passionately believes it is his duty to respond to the future by learning from the past. Carrying on the old woodland skills for generations to come. The horses work the woodland as part of a low impact woodland management system, thus creating a mosaic of habitats which increases the wonderfully rich bio diversity.
